The AFR’s Brian Toohey, one of the few campaigners for inter-generational fairness in the MSM, penned a great piece yesterday explaining how policy decisions favouring older Australians made under former Treasurer, Peter Costello, have added immensely to the Budget’s pressures and in the process have robbed younger generations, who will be called upon to fund the generous entitlements paid to their well-off parents and grandparents:
