Lower petrol prices drive living standards rebound

The National Centre for Social and Economic Modelling (NATSEM) has released a new quarterly Household Budget Report, which measures the cost of living and standard of living for Australian households.
The report finds that cost of living increases in Australia are currently benign and that household incomes and standard of living have increased strongly over the long term, but that the pace of growth in incomes and standard of living is falling.
