Residex: House prices fall despite Sydney boom

Residex has released its house and unit price results for January, which revealed a 0.55% fall in house prices nationally, but a 0.59% rise in unit values:

As shown above, performance was mixed with the two biggest capitals – Sydney and Melbourne – continuing to lead the way, driving values nationally.
