That’s all three major polling houses now recording two-party preferred results of 57-43 to Labor. PM Abbott has now sunk to an astonishing 18 points behind Labor’s Kingslayer as preferred prime minister. In terms of Liberal Party leadership, nobody wants Abbott, with the PM now a ridiculous 39 points behind Malcolm Turnbull or 32 points behind Julia Bishop. That’s not entirely true, loyal to a fault, Coalition voters still favour their dill.

Let’s see how the party room digests this baby this morning.
