More MPs turn on Tony

From the AFR:

Victorian Liberal MP Sharman Stone said the issue needed to be confronted.

“The public’s giving me loud and clear messages, they do want to see a change,” she told the ABC.

…Amid speculation that, later on Friday, a significant person is going to demand publicly there be a spill when parliament resumes next week, Mr Abbott again rushed to commercial radio to hose things down.

Gaffe-prone Christopher Pyne also put the cat among the pigeons this morning saying he couldn’t guarantee the PM had the numbers, before taking it all back later no doubt after a hot call from the Incredulin.

Hard to know if the Abbott defenses are crumbling or if this is just a few free radicals.
