LNG price update (QLD budget threat)

There’s been no relief overnight in the price of Brent crude, which impacts the forward LNG contract price. Brent slipped to just below $51USD per barrel, which translates to approx. $7.44USD per mmBTU:

The fall in LNG prices are now becoming a direct threat to the QLD budget bottom line as royalties growth that was pegged to bring the beleaugered state, now in election mode, back into surplus are reversing.
