NSW offsets weak car sales

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) today released new motor vehicle sales for the month of October 2014, which registered a 1.6% seasonally adjusted fall in the number of sales, and a 0.5% decrease over the year (see next table).

Sales in October rose in all jurisdictions except New South Wales and the Northern Territory.
