UN drastically underestimates Big Australia push

The United Nations (UN) has released its 2014 World Urbanization Prospects report, which updates city population forecasts across the globe.

The AFR has produced a nice summary, which notes that Melbourne and Sydney will battle it out to be the nation’s biggest city by 2030, with both capitals expected to have populations above 5 million people:
