Well the May print is in for unemployment from the ABS.

It’s somewhat as expected – forecast was 5.9% and 10K jobs created – print was 5.8% and nearly 5000 jobs lost, mainly because of losses in part time jobs, although some full time jobs were added.

The ABS reported the number of people employed decreased by 4,800 to 11,564,600 in May 2014 (seasonally adjusted). The decrease in total employment was due to decreased male and female part-time employment. Part-time employment decreased by 27,000 people to 3,496,200 and full-time employment increased by 22,200 people to 8,068,300.
