We’re world beaters!
We beat all the PIIGs listed: Italy, Ireland, Greece and Spain. I wonder how Portugal went?
There has been a definite improvement in manufacturing in Spain and Portugal in the last quarter, mostly export oriented. However nobody expects a boom but more like a slow, gradual slog, so consumer spending is not increasing.
