Aitken shuts, Business Spectator erects paywall

Is MB the last man standing? Business Spectator has today gone pay wall, if you like to read that sort of thing. And Charlie Aitken has closed his daily newsletter as well:

Charlie Aitken is now expected to focus on high net worth and institutional clients, rather than notes circulated to the masses.

The note was widely known for its bullish views on the market and particularly bellweather stocks including Fortescue Metals Group, Qantas Airways and QBE Insurance Group.

Farewell Charlie, if iron ore slides this year, I’ll remind you.
