ANZ job ads fall again

ANZ job ads are falling again, down 0.8 per cent last month, after decreasing by 0.1 per cent in October. According to the bank:
“While across the different measures of labour demand there have been some signs of stabilisation, it remains unclear whether this will persist and result in an increase in labour demand over the next couple of month.”
Interesting that this measure is defying incipient improvement in SEEK figures. Still, we’ve moved from sharp falls to a slow bleed.
