God bless the AFR for finally installing an embed option on its videos. Today we can present you with a short debate between Steve Keen and Aussie John Symond on whether or not there is a housing bubble (hiding it in plain sight thereby). It’s a bit like watching a debate between a guy speaking Italian and another speaking Zwahili. Symond wilfully ignores the structural issues in favour of the cyclical while Keen is all about structure so it’s ultimately quite unsatisfying. Still fun to see these guys share the platform:
