China’s July trade figures are out and exceeded subdued expectations. Exports rose at an annual rate of 5.1 per cent in July. Imports rose at 10.9 per cent versus 2.1% expected.

The trade surplus fell $10 billion to $US17.82 billion.

Evidence of stabilisation both internally and externally.
