China’s Flash PMI is out and jumped back into positive territory in August at 50.1 up from 47.7:

The internals showed it was driven by domestic demand:

A solid jump and better than going the other way but still weak. The dollar shot up half a cent but I’ll be surprised if it lasts. Fortunes are now reversed. Economic strength means taper, means lower dollar.
