Manufacturing activity in China slowed in June, in line with expectations, to 50.1, a fall from 50.8 in the previous month.

Meanwhile, South Korea’s PMI also fell from 51.1 in May to 49.4. Japan’s PMI jumped on Friday to a mutli-year high of 52.3. God help us all if Abenomics catches on.
