VIRGIN Australia is seeking to expand its relationship with Tourism Australia in the wake of the Qantass decision to pull funding from the agency amid a spat with chairman Geoff Dixon.
Virgin chief executive John Borghetti confirmed that he had drinks last night with Mr Dixon…
“I met up for him with a drink as chairman of Tourism Australia and a key partner of our marketing campaign,” Mr Borghetti said. “And that’s what I talked to him about.”
Maybe I’m old fashioned but can someone please explain how Geoff Dixon does not have a conflict of interest here?
