Every now and then it’s casually trotted out, perhaps as an attempt to connect with everyday voters that many in the ‘Canberra Bubble’ increasingly find themselves detached from.

Meanwhile, the issue of public and social housing has been a major topic of debate since the Albanese government took office, with the government engaging in multiple major battles with the Greens over the Housing Australia Future Fund, in particular.
