As the debate over the right level of migration into the nation continues, I thought it would be interesting to look at some assessments of Australia’s migration system.
There are plenty of reports that are scathing of the system’s failures, from its vulnerability to exploitation to its lack of focus on the skilled migrants most in need.
But today will be a bit different; instead of a report from academia or a super-national organisation, the organisation grading the performance of the Albanese government’s immigration system will be the Albanese government.
