Turnbull serves youth another housing shit sandwich

Just when you though Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull couldn’t get any worse on the all-important issue of housing affordability, he said the following in an interview this morning with ABC Radio’s Jon Faine:

Faine: My question was about the intergenerational aspects of it. It’s creating conflict with effectively the kids of your and my generation who can’t get into the market and they are saying for goodness sake you baby boomers you just want everything and you’re locking us out.

PM: Well are your kids locked out of the housing market?

Faine: Yes.

PM: Well you should shell out for them, a wealthy man like you.

Faine: Well that’s what they say!

PM: Well there you go, you’ve got the solution in your own hand…you might want to provide a bit of inter-generational equity in the Faine family.

One can only wonder at what role his own multiple investment properties play when dancing this slap stick drivel:
