Japan wants more Abenomics but will it work?

As Japan headed into recession, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, whose economic policies are dubbed “Abenomics”, called a snap election over the weekend and confirmed its parliamentary majority. The LDP was returned again by the voters who seem to be having second thoughts, somewhat like the expulsion on Australia’s ALP and the return of the LNP to the fold on grounds of “economic competency”.

How has Abenomics fared so far and what is in store in the future?
