Immigration ponzi crushing state budgets

Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has warned that there will be “very difficult measures” in his government’s May budget, and it is expected that health, infrastructure and the public service will be among the areas where spending will be slashed.

The Melbourne Airport Rail project and the Geelong Fast Rail projects are among the infrastructure projects likely to be impacted, while up to 6,000 public service jobs could be cut.

Some 45 community health services have already been told to prepare for cuts of up to 15%, mostly affecting preventative and education programs relating to vaping and obesity.
