Growth of high-density housing impeding solar take-up

New research from Roy Morgan shows that nearly one-third (32.3%) of Australian households now have solar systems installed, with the share more than doubling from 14% in 2018.

However, the rising share of apartments is reducing penetration, especially in NSW and Victoria:
