Unvaccinated 16 times more likely to enter ICU

The National Centre for Immunisation Research & Surveillance has released a report which shows that being fully vaccinated significantly reduced the risk of hospitalisation or admission to intensive care during the first 16 weeks of NSW’s Delta variant outbreak.

The report also shows that while 47 people who died from COVID-19 during this period were fully vaccinated, they were all either elderly or had significant comorbidities.
