Property Council demands people return to CBDs

The latest Roy Morgan survey of CBD people movements shows that activity across Melbourne’s and Sydney’s CBDs remains less than one-third of ‘normal’ pre-COVID levels despite both cities reopening:

In desperation, the Property Council has launched a plan to bring people back to the CBDs:

The plan identifies nine key areas to supercharge the city, including a new $50 million fund, the return of public servants to offices three days a week and free public transport for three months plus further concessions next year…
