Job postings surge as “no jab, no job” requirements take hold

Callam Pickering, economist at global jobs site Indeed, has updated his job postings data, which continues to grow from strength to strength:

Job postings are now 82% above their level on February 1 last year. Postings are up around 21% since 30 June, having surged recently as economic restrictions across NSW and Victoria eased.

The next chart shows how much of the recent growth in job postings has been centred on NSW and Victoria. The increase elsewhere has been more gradual but still very strong overall:
