Internet job vacancies fall for 8th straight month

The August 2019 Internet Vacancy Report has been released, which has fallen for the 8th consecutive month:

The Internet Vacancy Index (IVI) decreased by 0.1% (or 200 job advertisements) in August 2019, and has now declined for eight consecutive months. The IVI is 6.0% (or 10,900 job advertisements) below the level recorded a year ago. However, it remains 9.4% (or 14,700 job advertisements) higher than the level recorded in August 2014.
