Macro Morning (Trading Week)

Thus begins four years of yuge uncertainty with markets now ready to jump in volatility as President Trump is inaugurated over the weekend. Friday night was marked by cautious bullishness on stock markets on both sides of the Atlantic as the USD lost ground and Treasuries sold off. Gold remains elevated while oil markets are cautious as OPEC starts making noises surrounding possible import cuts from The Homeland.

As usual for Monday mornings, I’ll take a step back and look at markets with a longer term view as my “Trading Week”.
