Retail sales growth firmed in October

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) has released retail sales figures for the month of October, which registered a 0.5% rise in seasonally-adjusted sales over the month with annual sales clocking in at 3.5% growth:

In trend terms, annual retail sales growth clocked in at 3.3% and is rebounding.
