Residex has released its house and unit price results for June, which finally showed a pick-up in growth in Sydney home values, catching-up somewhat to the strong growth already reported by Core Logic.

According to Residex, house values nationally fell by 0.75% in June to be flat over the quarter and up by 3.75% over the year. By contrast, Australian unit values rose 1.88% in June to be up 2.58% over the quarter and by 5.16% over the year (see below table).
