Have banks juked the stats on investor lending?

Yesterday’s credit aggregates data from the RBA continued the trend of weakening investor lending to housing, but stronger owner-occupied lending:

After peaking at 11.0% annual growth in June 2015, annual investor lending growth has slumped to 6.0% as at May 2016. By contrast, annual owner-occupied lending growth has surged from 5.1% to 7.4% over the same period.
