From the HIA comes a broad-based rebound in new home sales in March:
The HIA New Home Sales Report, a survey of Australia’s largest volume builders, shows that total new home sales bounced back in March, said the Housing Industry Association – the voice of Australia’s residential building industry.
Total seasonally-adjusted new home sales increased by 8.9 per cent in March 2016, following February’s sharp decline of 5.3 per cent. The increase in total sales consisted of a 7.0 per cent increase in detached house sales and a 16.3 per cent jump in multi-unit sales.
