Murdoch to marry Jerry Hall Rupert Murdoch, the chairman and controlling shareholder of 21st Century Fox and News Corp, is to marry actress-model Jerry Hall. The marriage, announced in Tuesday’s edition of The Times newspaper, will be Mr Murdoch’s fourth. It is unclear what effect it will have on the ownership of the companies his family controls. News Corp’s assets span newspaper, print and digital publishing while Fox operates television and film businesses.
