“Perfect storm” confronts Perth property

It’s fast becoming “pass the popcorn” time in Perth as the property lobby furiously defends the market against calls of an approaching “perfect storm”.

The latest warning about Perth property has come from Craig Abbott, the new chief of Raine & Horne group in Western Australia, who believes there are “clouds” gathering on the horizon, which, if they converge rather than dissipate, could create a “perfect storm” for Perth’s property market, leading to a protracted downturn.
