Big job losses coming in LNG

One of the key themes on this site has been the big shock to employment that will come as the once-in-a-century mining investment boom unwinds over the next three years.

There are currently six ginormous LNG export projects that are being constructed across Australia – three in Gladstone Queensland, two in Western Australia (Gorgon and Wheatstone), and one in the Northern Territory (ichthys) – all of which will be completed by 2017.
