Why Abbott is failing on infrastructure

Back in July, Prime Minister Tony Abbott gave an address to the 2014 Economic and Social Outlook Conference Dinner, arguing that Australia needs to invest heavily in infrastructure and outlining why he wants to be known as the “infrastructure Prime Minister” [my emphasis]:

An essential part of our Economic Action Strategy is record investment in infrastructure.
