We teamed up with UBS Evidence Lab (> Access Dataset) to assess the market quality surrounding each of the >500 malls in Australia. This analysis takes into account demographics and competition to better understand portfolio quality of major shopping centre owners. The short-term outlook post COVID-19 for malls remains challenging, however this portfolio analysis provides a deeper understanding for the ecommerce-led structural shifts sweeping through the sector.
