Hudson: Australian hiring intentions fall

From Hudson today comes the Q3 business employment intentions:

  • 22.5% of employers expect to increase headcount, down 1.6pp and the lowest level since Q3 2009
  • Employers intending to maintain current headcount remains steady at 63.2%, and the highest level since Q4 2009
  • Slightly more employers expect to decrease headcount, up 1.6pp to 14.2%
