Victoria’s working poor driven into homelessness

Victoria has the lowest share of social housing in Australia, making up only 3% of total residences.

That is far lower than the national average of 4.2%, already considered poor by global standards.

The Guardian revealed last month that Victoria’s homelessness situation is the worst in the country and continues to worsen.
