Labor’s permanent migrant lift dumbens Australia

As we know, the Albanese Government on Friday announced that it will immediately lift the permanent non-humanitarian migrant intake by 35,000 to a record high 195,000.

In announcing the increase, Home Affairs Minister Claire O’Neil suggested Labor wants to pursue post-war style ‘nation building’ via mass immigration:

“This is a turning point in our history as momentous as the post war ‘populate or perish’ program that was the foundation of our post-war reconstruction, nation building and national security.”
