NSW vows to axe stamp duty

NSW Treasurer, Dominic Perrottet, yesterday flagged that the State Government wants to axe inefficient taxes like stamp duty in a bid to revive the economy. The Labor Opposition also flagged their support:

Mr Perrottet told Nine that: “We are not going to tax our way back into prosperity”… The treasurer said that stamp duty was at the top of his hit list…
