Construction job ads fall 25%. Worse to come

The latest dwelling construction data has painted an ominous picture for Australia’s jobs market.

Earlier this week, the ABS released its Value of Construction Work Done data for the March quarter, which showed that residential construction activity fell for three consecutive quarters, down 6.1%:
