Aussies don’t want personal income tax cuts

The Australian’s David Uren reports today that the Turnbull Government is looking to offer lower to middle-income groups tax cuts in this year’s Budget, possibly worth up to $7 billion:

It could cost up to $4 billion a year to neutralise the effect of last year’s Medicare levy increase on lower to middle-income groups that Malcolm Turnbull has said will be the main beneficiaries of this year’s budget tax cuts…
