Macro Morning (Trading Week)

US stocks markets ended last week with a whimper as they close for a long weekend stint, reopening Tuesday, able to absorb the Tweeter in Chiefs impact on NATO, G-7 and climate change. Its looking to be an interesting end to the month as the calls for “sell in May and go away” remain an echo chamber. European stocks had an equally flaccid end with UK markets closed on Monday as well, while the OPEC actions on Thursday leave bulls and bears unimpressed.

As usual for Monday mornings, I’ll take a step back and look at markets with a longer term view as my “Trading Week”.
