Another day, another apartment crash warning

Receivers PPB Advisory are warning apartment developers to increase their safety parameters around settlement risk but say there is not the same dire consequences as in the Gold Coast apartment market during the financial crisis.

Major developers, such as Mirvac which was downgraded because of concerns about settlement risk, are activating plans to deal with foreign buyers and investors who may not be able to access funding from banks following a lending crackdown by CBA, Westpac and the other majors.
