Citi: Australia’s top four firms

Four Australian companies have earned a place in Citi’s 2014 World Champions list joining a host of global giants such as Apple, Google and Starbucks.

Bloods products maker CSL, medical devices group Resmed, share registry company Computershare and job advertisement site Seek were named in Citi’s list of the world’s top 50 companies.

Citi analysts said the World Champions basket was ‘‘typical high quality strategy’’, with strong earnings per share growth and high cash flow.

Offshore industrials, all. Here’s the list:
