Iron ore charts for August 22, 2016:
Tianjin spot rose 0.2% to $61.10, much less than paper which piled it on again overnight. Rebar remains supportive. Steel mill margins are still reasonable. There’s no reason here yet for steel mills to destock. The opposite, in fact, so firm pricing remains the order of the day perhaps through to October.
