RBA’s Mr Rainbow lashes economic “doom-mongers”

There’s no stopping the RBA’s Mr Rainbow, John Edwards, who has assumed the role left by “boom boom” Ric Battellino in talking-up the Australian economy. Edwards came out swinging overnight, lambasting the “economic doom-mongers” – past and future. From Nikkei.com:

The truth, however, is that the Australian economic story is both more interesting and more nuanced than the widely reported view that the so-called lucky country is spiraling into a slump after the supposedly fat and complacent years of the mining boom.
